Anyone want a cat?

UGH! JonJon was relentless overnight with the whiny meows and bopping me with paws to wake me up ALL NIGHT. Even after feeding them their "breakfast" (quotes because 1 and 3 are not appropriate breakfast times), he still wouldn't stop and then JuneBug decided to get zoomies and got him more riled up and I was frustrated and angry at the both of them. JuneBug's tummy is also having a bad spell lately too which doesn't help.

I emailed in saying that I needed a couple more hours rest because I was actually dizzy and woozy since this was night three of this nonsense. The last two days at work I've had eye twitches from being tired and from eyestrain.  I'll make up the time by coming in this weekend for a few hours since I need to make a serious dent in my work backlog.

The weird thing is that after I emailed bossman and others to let them know I'd be late, I turned off any alarms, glared at both kitties and lay down, expecting to fend them off. But they then decided all was well and went over to take naps. I have to think part of it is them knowing I was tense about needing to sleep and the boy was doing the kitty equivalent of "ARE YOU OK, MOM?"

I'll be taking something to hopefully knock myself out tonight and reset things. I'm beat but at least less groggy now.

Oh and since it got cool overnight, the ants increase tenfold. I put four gel traps next to each other behind the dishrack next to the door (because the cats don't go up there) and the little annoying boogers are at least being attracted to those. Hopefully it quickly reduces their population before they decide to try to venture further in to the apartment.

lol @ "the zoomies" ;) Perfect name for that lmao. Glad they finally let you rest when you really needed it, though <3

UGH indoor bugs...no just NO

Bugs are part of apartment life, unfortunately. At this place, when the seasons change, the ants come say hello. While they're annoying and creepy, they don't spread disease, thankfully. I just have to stay on top of the influx (and tell JuneBug to stop eating them lol). After a few weeks when the season is here for a while, they seem to wander off again.

The previous apartment was a nightmare, though. Gigantic camel crickets, ants constantly, and TWO termite swarms.

The first apartment I had was in a not so great area and one new upstairs neighbor brought roaches and the next neighbor after them brought bedbugs.

So ants, by comparison of the previous places, not as bad.

GAHHH. Night Crazies suck. Like the name zoomies for it, lol!

Hope you keep them darned ants from marching too far in!
