Battle of the new doctors. Dun DUN DUN

I now have two doctors appointments next week now. The first one on Monday with some new guy in my soon-to-be-former-GP's office *snuffle* and I need to get BP refills on one of the kind - or come up with a better gameplan. OH! Forgot to mention that at the rheumatologist appointment, even though my weight is still plateaued (grr), my BP was a comfortable 123/78. That was a relief.

The next new potential doctor has been interesting already. I went online to sign up for the new program the University has signed onto and they emailed me that someone would get hold of me on my cell. I didn't realize until this morning - because I suck at checking my cell - that they actually TEXTED me to initiate making an appointment. Well, well, well! I can get used to this! I replied and in no time, I have an appointment next Wednesday morning at 8am for a meet and greet. I was worried about parking at their location but they have some reserve spots and you buzz them so you can get in and park there. Awesome! Also, they asked me to download an app called Spruce (which I'll do on my iPad instead of my prepaid cell) so that once I'm established, I don't even need to go into their office unless I need to do labwork and stuff.

Fancy pants e-doctor is so far ahead in the race.

Speaking of health-related items, I ordered some CBD cat treats which should arrive tomorrow. I'm crossing my fingers that they help JuneBug because her poo issues are getting worse again. Poor kitty girl. If they also help JonJon chill out more, super bonus.

Poor Junie :( Hoping the treats help her <3

I love the texting appointments, too! My dentist does that and it's the best. I send the office "Happy Holiday" texts, too! *lol*

I really hope so. I've tried giving her some different foods this week and still no luck. She doesn't appear to be feeling bad but she shouldn't be going to the box so often and having non-solid poos.

Hm...I wonder how they'll do that? I am trying not to get my hopes up with them but in the back of my head I'm rooting for them to be awesome and helpful.

New e-doctor sound good! All my doctors have online "portals" where I can get meds renewed, read my lab reports, make appointments, and send emails for anything that the above don't cover. Much better than waiting on hold!

I'm curious about the "meet and greet". In my experience they involve cheese and crackers and wine. One can only hope...

This morning I had a WTF moment because to get information for the form for the new doc, I went into the portal for my current doctor's office (part of a huge practice that's now tied to Rutgers University) and there's missing data. I swear I either printed or saved it somewhere - at least I hope so because this is disturbing.

LOL That would be fun, but they'd probably have a veggie tray and seltzer since we're supposed to be healthy and stuff. Booooo
