Pretty shoes and the battle rages on

My Doc Martens boots were pretty comfortable, though I can't wear them frequently until my back starts to behave again. However, the Doc Martens canvas shoes I ordered online were way too big. I wasted my time on Sunday schlepping all the way to the mall because they won't take back one of their styles that they don't sell there. BAH. I did try on a size smaller of a similar style (they don't do half sizes) and they seemed to fit ok so I've ordered this pair of shoes online (they didn't carry it in-store) which should go with a lot of outfits.

Now the issue I'm having is trying to get to a UPS drop off point to send the old pair back to get a refund on them. I think my coworker is going to Staples at lunch today so if so, I'll tag along since I can drop them off there.

Oh for FUCK'S sake, as I'm typing this post, the neighbor turned off the damned AC again. Well, when it gets stifling in about ten minutes, I will go turn the damned thing back ON. I am not toying around with this.

Sorry you've had to deal with issues with the new shoes. Sounds like you might be working it all out really well though.
They are adorable.
I have small wide feet, and so I usually have trouble getting shoes that fit right with out crushing my footsies.

I have small, wide feet too. Though my arches are slooooowly falling so they're getting longer and I have orthotic inserts I can put in some shoes. The ones I'm returning are size 7 - which the boots are 7 and while they are a little big, boots are forgiving like that. So I tried on a 6 on my left foot which is my bigger one and they seem ok.

*gasp* I LOVE those shoes!! They will look so sharp with jeans, white or black bottoms, even brown!
I LOVE a statement shoe and a simple outfit. I've got these super rad royal blue high heels with a CLEAR blue spike heel--to die for--so I always pair it with a plain black or white no-nonsense dress.

I fucking love fashion and I miss dressing for my old job.

What is wrong with those ass hats?? LEAVE THE AC ON YOU PRICKS!

Jeans...yuck. lol (I have a deep crease in my tummy so anything with hard buttons at the waist really hurt.) But I figured they'd go with both the khaki colored pants I wear as well as the navy blue. Heck, they'd even look cute with a colored skirt and some sassy looking short socks - something a la the 50s.

It appears I am doomed. She turned the AC back on and while it's blowing air around, the air is not cooled. This building is a MFing nightmare.

Yes girl that's going to look so good with khaki or navy--navy somehow became a neutral, I love it!

I love 50s socks with the little ruffle at the top :>

Bleeeh to your office atmosphere :s Desk fan? *lol* :\

Wow, those are colorful. I guess they go with just about anything.

I've never been one to shy away from a bit of color ;)

I remember when I was living with my brother and SIL during college and we were doing laundry at the large apartment laundry room. He opened a dryer and it was a BURST of colorful clothing so he knew that was mine. He opened another and it was a collection of white, khaki and more white. Yep, his. lol

For me, I tend more towards your brother's palate. I do black, gray and white mostly.

Those shoes are groovy. Pity about the fit. No one does half sizes anymore which sucks.
