Say whaaaaaat?

Aside from my general, personal disinterest in the making of woohooing, coworker friend just displayed why I'm likely going to remain single.

She asked me whether the new (fabulous) doctor makes you get into a gown for the meet and greet exam.  Evidently the guy that she lives with - someone we all thought she was moving way too fast with anyway - is all twenty questions because god forbid she's auditioning a MALE physician. Not even a gyno.

Are you kidding me? The eyes, they rolleth.

I confirmed for her that no, you stay dressed. I also told her that I wouldn't last long in that relationship because to be honest, my first response to a controlling bullshit question like "Does the doctor make you get undressed?" would be "Well, depends if he asks nicely." Because I have no patience for such distrust and insecurity. Honestly.

EDIT: YASSSS! Just got this via email from the coworker because she said she was tempted to use my line. AND SHE DID! GOOD GIRL!

After I sent that text, Eric called me and said, “Babe, that isn’t funny.” And I replied, “Yes it is” (while laughing quite uncontrollably).

Evidently he's also done the bullshit thing of threatening to jump out of a moving car. What a freaking loser.

My response when she told us that is asking her whether she told him he should tuck before rolling down the highway.

Yeah, that's a big reason why I haven't pursued a relationship in several eons. But that Eric sounds like a real piece of work. Your friend needs to run for the hills.

I think she'll find a way soon to move out again on her own. He's one of those "nice guys" that is clearly anything but.
