Oh come on, already

The back still isn’t getting in gear, but my doctor is fabulous and will see me at 11:45 tomorrow. Emily is also fabulous because she offered to drive me there. I’m still afraid to go downstairs but I need to see someone to see if there’s any solutions. If nothing else maybe I need to start the process to get certified as disabled.

In far lighter stuff, I think one of my Canadian cuties on the flist needs to make her hair the amazing blue that Iggy has in this video

Oh and I request a funeral with drag queens and twerking if I biff off.

LOL I did not expect there to be death, 10 seconds into the song! That lilac hair is pretty fabulous though!

Rumor has it that the death in the video it and the song itself is a clap back at that Danielle somebody that is now a rapper. She’s a teenager that was on Dr. Phil, and has been harassing Iggy on social media

Good luck at the doc appt ^_^

I thought you first, but then went and realized that you or the other two Canada babes would rock it.

It looks kind of like a periwinkle color, does that make a difference?

Thanks, I hope the doctor has some sort of idea that might help. I need to get back to regular life. I can’t even take out the trash and it’s full

Okay, well, as long as I was first... ;) But I just thought of Xina and she would rock the hell outta this, too!!

Periwinkle--one of my favourite colours, but I'm not experimenting with wild colours right now--summer is coming and I wanna be blonde as possible ^_^

I do hope you can find some solution to your back pain. Chronic pain is no joke and it impacts everything you do. Fingers crossed, the doctor can give you some relief.

Unfortunately no such luck. He did seem unhappy that there wasn’t more he could do for me, but I’m going to have to try to get into my rheumatologist and hopefully it doesn’t take another three months.

I'm sorry to hear that.
I wish you luck in finding help elsewhere.

I hope the doctor can come up with something for your back. Would a short course of steroids help reduce any inflammation?

I hope you don't need to go on Social Security Disability; it will screw up your lifetime SS monthly payments. If the doctor thinks it is a way to go, PM me and I.ll share my experience.

He wants me to see if I can get into the rheumatologist to see if perhaps a steroid injection or something might help. As far as disability I was hoping not to have to go out of work completely, but it may be time to try to get some accommodations to park closer and secure in my job in case I have a problem for longer than a week or so

Would it be possible to work from home part of the time? Then you could lie down for a while whenever you need to. Sitting for eight hours with only a couple breaks can be hard on the back.

That’s part of why I want to start looking into paperwork when it comes to disability. I want to be able to park close when the weather is slippery so that I don’t throw anything out of place. I also want to be able to have the option to work from home on occasion where in the back is being iffy. I probably could arrange the second with the boss and probably should try
