The new vegan mozzarella is pretty good! I still wouldn't heap it up on the pizza like regular cheese but at least I finally found one that I don't want to pick off

I went with a TJ's herb crust, homemade sauce, vegan mozz and parm, canned mushrooms and I took some olives and jarred red and yellow bell peppers and pulsed them in the food processor. Ended up pretty good!

I work at a pizza place. It's called Midici the Neapolitan Pizza Company. So when I saw the title of your entry it was only natural that I clicked on it.

Looks good! What is the brand name of the vegan cheese? I have been working on using only rennet-free cheese, but vegan would be easier than trying to figure out what "enzymes" the ingredients list referred to.

You are doing really well at sticking to the vegan diet. Way to go, girl!

It's called Good PLANeT. I am super impressed with their product!

I tried the shredded "cheddar" before and it's delicious. I had it on some tacos the other day.

Thanks! I haven't received my blood test results yet from last Wednesday. I hope to get them soon to make sure I don't need to make any modifications. About the only non-vegan options I'd consider is perhaps occasional fish for heart health. I so want to get off some or all of my BP meds.

Thanks! The nearest grocery is about an hour away, but maybe I can buy online.

I've been doing lacto-ovo-pesco-vegetarian for 16 years now and my blood pressure is down to normal and my cholesterol levels have improved a lot; the doctor can't find anything to complain about except my triglycerides being a little high. I try to do fish, especially salmon or tuna, about twice a week.
